Manipulating water for our own personal satisfaction is at the core of what we do. The slate and weathered boulders in our natural features, the bronze and silver meshes of our sculptural ones, and all the other beautiful materials we use are there for just one reason - to make the water shine. As you will see from our portfolio, the range of our work is large. If you have an idea for a project, be it very large or very small, indoor or outdoor, please call us for a free consultation. Consulting
Building your own water feature is tremendously rewarding. You can be outdoors, getting exercise, all while creating something that will give you years of pleasure. But planning and building a pond can be technically and aesthetically challenging for first-timers. If you have questions please contact us. We don't charge for telephone or email consultations. Having seen just about every obstacle a pond builder can run into, there's a pretty good chance we can help you solve your problem. It helps if you can send a few pictures.
If you are in the area and have a more complex situation, on-site consulting may be helpful. Our fee is $85/hour with no travel charge if you are within a 15 minute drive of south Minneapolis (beyond which we charge the same amount for travel time). With just an hour or two we can help you avoid a lot of headaches and unneeded expenses.
Equipment packages
If you are a do-it-yourselfer and are in the planning process, your head may be swimming with all the equipment options. There are hundreds of pumps, filters and skimmers to choose from. There are options for fittings, liners and underlayment. We can make it all fit together for you. Tell us what you are trying to achieve, and we can put together a package specifically for your project. The piping will be suited to the pump, the skimmer will be sized for the pond surface area, the fittings will fit, and so on. The components will be high quality and the cost will be competitive. We'll even tell you which parts you can make yourself, such as a biofilter. Combine this with on-site or on-line consulting and you are assured of success.
The muscle sharing program
Some people are do-it-yourselfers with limited time. Others
want a professionally built pond, but have a limited budget. Either
way, we can come up with a plan to make it work. We'll just use a
little of your muscle and a little of our muscle. Perhaps you want to
do the initial excavation and have us take your project to completion.
That works. Or maybe you want to build most of the pond yourself, and
would like us to do only the trickiest parts such as the waterfalls.
That works too. Whatever your budget or time constraints, we can put a
program together to get your project done.
